You may receive guidance on appropriate self-care, be offered an appointment within a suitable time frame based on clinical assessment or be redirected to a more appropriate service such as an optician or another relevant provider.
Non-urgent advice: 2024 COVID-19 Autumn Booster/Flu Vaccination Programme
2024 COVID-19 Autumn Booster vaccinations are being rolled out in Wales, in line with JCVI's (Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation) guidance.
Grayhill Surgery are please to announce that the practice will be continuing to support the COVID-19 Vaccination programme.
We will be starting our Autumn Booster/Flu vaccinatins in October 2024 and all eligible patients will receive an appointment invite via the post in the next week or two. The letter will detail the time of your appointment, please make every effort to attend.
Please use the front entrance to the building. You may have to queue outside for a short time so please check the weather before you leave and wear appropriate clothing.
Parking will be available in the adjacent Council car park.
Patient Check-In Touchscreens at Grayhill
When arriving at the surgery for your booked appointment you can now use the Patient Check-in Touchscreen located in the lobby of Grayhill Surgery.
The patient check-in touchscreen provides a safe and simple process for you to arrive yourself for your appointment by following a few simple onscreen instructions.
This process will save you waiting in a queue for the receptionist as you can check-in for your appointment and the screen will display instructions of who you are seeing and which area of our waiting room you should take a seat.
You can also use the QR code on your mobile phone to assess the check in system instead of using the touchscreen.
Routine nurse appointments
When a member of the clinical team has requested that you have a blood test this can be booked with of one of our receptionist at the main desk.
Treatment suite appointments with the nursing team can be booked in advance.
Home Visits
Do not delay dialling 999 if you feel that an ambulance is needed.
Housebound patients requiring a home visit, please contact the surgery prior to 10.00 am. Only emergency visits will be arranged after this time at the doctor’s discretion.
